Congratulations to physics majors in the class of 2009!
- Professor Hank Yochum has been named a 2010 finalist for an Outstanding Faculty Award from the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia.
- Physics and Engineering Science major Kaelyn Leake ('09) is the recipient of the 2009 George H. Lenz Excellence in Physics award. Kaelyn is enrolled in the graduate electrical engineering program at the University of California at Santa Cruz.
- Math-Physics major Stephanie Nance ('09) is enrolled in the graduate atmospheric physics program at New Mexico Tech.
- Math-Physics major Jessie Lile ('09) is employed by the U.S. Department of Justice as a science liason.
- Math-Physics major Rebecca Girten ('09) is a fifth grade teacher at Serviam Girls Academy in New Castle, DE.
